Your Candidate Experience with MercyAscot

The selection process may vary depending on the position you are applying for, but it will be similar to the following:

Step 1: Online Application

To apply click here. When you have successfully submitted your application, you will receive an acknowledgement email.

Step 2: Pre-selection

You may be contacted by our Talent Acquisition team or Hiring Manager to discuss your application further. 

Step 3: Selection

If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an interview. In some instances, you may be invited in for a second interview to further discuss your application and suitability for the role. 

Step 4: Assessments

Some positions may require you to complete a skills assessment and/or a psychometric assessment. We use an independent provider to administer these assessments. 

Step 5: Reference Checks

As our preferred candidate, you will be requested to provide details of two verbal referees, one of whom is your current or most recent line manager. 

Step 6: Offer

A conditional offer of employment will be made subject to satisfactory criminal records check and health clearance. Some positions may require a credit check. Details of this will be discussed during the selection process.
